Shopping List
Triathlon is an activity that keeps on getting you to spend money. That's ok, I used to spend all my money on cocktails and fancy dinners in the city, I feel I'm getting more "entertainment" for my buck here at the end of the day.
Since I started tracking my monthly expenses, I realize I need to "spread" my "shopping" expenses across several months so I don't go bankrupt. Plus I enjoy my gifts to self more if I don't get them all at once. It's like a new toy, I want alone time with it for a few weeks before focusing on the next one.

- February: wet suit (done), tire changing kit (done), water bottle cage (done, got two), night light (done), pump
- March: sunglasses, bike shipping fees, airfare to Tampa
- April: tri top and shorts, second set of goggles, camera, hotel in Tampa + other race expenses

Aren't early mornings much better than late nights?
It's been ironic how aging has gotten me; On one hand I can output as much as I did in college on a rowing machine, so I am guessiong my VO2 Max is still there, but I can no longer stay up/drink like I did back in the good old days.
I was thinking this in between front squat series last night at the boathouse, how much better life gets as you age. Less time, money and effort spent on silly bullshit, more time for squats and dogs.
